For 15 years, we at REX Karmaveer Global Fellowship mission have been inspired by this idea for action and have been recognising REAL and UNSUNG Heroes from around the world through the KARMAVEER awards institutes in partnership with the UN, for their work to make a difference in our world and their ideas for action to change mindset of others and inspire people to be the change.
Over the years the KARMAVEER awards have inspired many other organisations to recognise Real UNSUNG Heroes and in its 10th edition, KBC (Kaun Banega Crorepati – The Indian version of Who wants to be a Millionaire?) has started the KBC KARMAVEER series showcasing our Real UNSUNG heroes.
KARMAVEER – the global awards for social justice and citizen action are the first awards in the world, which recognised UNSUNG heroes and today many of our award recipients have also received other GLOBAL and NATIONAL AWARDS (including the Nobel, Magsaysay, Padma, CNN Real Heroes, Social Impact Awards, Lead India etc.).
This is a moment of pride and recognition for the Karmaveer movement. All of you Karmaveer award recipients and REX Karmaveer Global fellows have made this possible to spread the values of Karmaveer around the world to bring our REAL UNSUNG HEROES to the forefront.
