Mr. Aakash Nambiar
Aakash Nambiar, 28, native of Kerala, settled in Bangalore is an engineer and MBA graduate. He works in a US based MNC as a social media community manager. Sports is his passion from childhood, having played for school, college, district and university in cricket. In 2013, he started running which he never dreamt of. Meeting the supermodel, actor and marathon runner was the turning point of his life. He introduced him to Pinkathon, India’s largest women only run. He was appointed as the Pinkathon Ambassador in Bangalore in 2013. He ran his first 10km and 21km in 2014 and next year he was able to do his first full marathon (42.2km). They also started training visually impaired, hearing impaired women for running. Last year he took part in Mera Terah run, an initiative by Jagadish Damania. Mera Terah Run is a collective that picks socially relevant causes every year and combines awareness-building and fund-raising to support these causes via a novel and interesting method of running a half marathon on 13 consecutive days. In 2015, he celebrated New Year by running from Bangalore to Mysore barefoot along with Milind Soman and 5 other runners to promote Pinkathon and also to spread awareness about breast cancer. When Bangalore was affected by worst summer of the decade, he started a campaign called “MARK YOU BARK”. The concept was simple where each person plants a sapling. With around 300 saplings planted, it created awareness among people. After all these learning experiences, he has decided to combine his knowledge on running and awareness on various social causes.
Mr. Abhishek Joshi
Abhishek Joshi is passionate to create an impact and to change the socio-economic landscape of unexplored India, by connecting people with people. He is a traveller, thinker and founder of “Lets Travel for a Cause”. With over twelve years of experience in corporate sector, he has successfully worked in leadership roles in the area of strategic HR, leadership development and Learning & Development in the corporate sector. In social sector he has worked passionately in the area of Micro-savings and financial literacy. He is following his passion to fulfil his mission “Spread Happiness Through my Actions (karma)” through his social entrepreneurship venture called “Let’s Travel for a Cause”. “Let’s Travel for a Cause” is one unique solution or a start point to initiate change within the society. It is based on a fundamental question, is there a way in which humans can help humans by simply connecting with each other and generate livelihood opportunities for lesser privileged and increase overall socio – economic state of the community?
Mr. Abhishek Srivastva
Abhishek Srivastva has a total experience of more than 16 years in Quality Management System and awarded for Business Excellence in Quality & Services from Future of India. Abhishek, holding a Mechanical Engineer degree and an MBA is an Auditor in ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, OHSAS 18001, TS 16949 & ISO/ IEC 17025:2005. He is also Certified Six Sigma Black Belt. In his 16 years carrier Abhishek has served national and international organizations such as LG Electronics, Rockwell Industries before coming to consulting and auditing field. He has applied his skills, developed and implemented Quality & Environmental Management System in Automotive, Engineering and Service Sector organizations. He is currently assisting in implementation of NABL, NABH, QMS, EMS, OHSAS, TS 16949, ISO standard apart from the consultancy. He has a good control over training in different standards like NABL, PPAP, APQP, MSA, Lean, Kaizen, 5S, 7QC Tools, SFMEA, EFMEA, PFMEA and Process development. Abhishek has developed and implemented Quality Assurance system for a range of industries. He provides End to End Solution to come out from Quality Problems. Mr. Adit Mittal
Adit Mittal is a student of 7th standard, studying in Kothari International School, Noida. He is theist, GOD fearing and firm believer of Karma mixed with Destiny. He is an animal lover and feels bad when he sees some old aged person/ small kids at road side begging. He wishes that God gives him that kind of power and makes him a good human being who can support everyone in need. Considering this as his social responsibility, he has got associated with his father’s organization named ITCONS e-Solutions Pvt. Ltd. as CSRO while studying.

Dr. Aabha Chaudhary
Dr. Aabha Chaudhary is an alumnus of Lady Shri Ram College, United Nations International institute on Ageing, Malta and Delhi School of Economics, Delhi University. An internationally renowned expert in gerontology and gender issues, she has completed her Doctorate degree on old age care. She is consultant with UNESCAP, UNIC, UNFPA, FAO and other leading international agencies. She is Honorary Chairperson of a national Non – Government Organisation (NGO) – ‘Anugraha’- working in the areas of – poverty reduction, networking & advocacy, health care, legal aid & counselling, corporate social responsibility and age care and women empowerment. She is implementing several skill generation projects focused on providing caregivers and bed side assistants training to hundreds of school dropout girls. She is also working as a Key Collaborator with Ministry of Social Justice, Govt of India, a member of State Council for Older Persons, Govt. of Delhi NCT, visiting faculty in Nihon University, Tokyo, Japan, an expert member on age care in National Human Rights Commission and Research Advisory Committees of various Ministries. Ms. Asha Batra
A lawyer by profession, Asha is the co-founder of NHP Centre, a not-for-profit body engaged in the development of a framework of diverse, creative and integrated initiatives that aid in cultural progress and social consciousness of communities which form essential indicators for measuring the happiness quotient, growth and success of its members. She is also the co-founder of Fellows of Nature (FON), set up in partnership with French Institute in India, to build a community of nature writers and revive interest in nature writing and reading and, through this form of literature, bring the critical issue of climate change under spotlight. Under this project, the first international FON South Asia Short Story Award on Nature Writing has been started. As co-founder of NHP Centre, Asha is also involved in the planning of Kumaon Literary Festival – a unique literature festival held in the villages of Kumaon. The festival promotes new talent and helps the economy of the villages in it is held. Another project she is leading at NHP Centre is Literary Bhagidarito mentor the youth of the country so promote leaders who excel in the field of art and literature with the objective that the cultural development of the country is no less than its economic growth. Having grown up in the mountains of Uttarakhand and North East, she has deep and sensitive understanding of the problems faced by the people living in the villages of the hilly region. To work for their welfare and the ecology of the hills is one of the key driving spirits behind her motivation to co-found the Centre.
Mr. Ashok Arora
Ashok is a well-known lawyer and former secretary of Supreme Court Bar Association (India). He is a Rotarian, Motivational Speaker, Law Teacher, Author and Marriage Counsellor. He is an Ex Student of Harvard & Oxford Summer Schools. He has 37 years of experience in the arena of spirituality, law practice, teaching, motivation, personality development, stress management and communication skills. He has been teaching law and has delivered hundreds of free lectures for the benefit of students, teachers, parents, judges, army, police, doctors, corporate and professionals on a wide range of subjects like blissful living, stress management, parenting, complete personality development, life/ communication skills, leadership, matrimonial issue, corporate training, team building, family law, constitution etc. Feeling concerned about the falling standards of physical and mental health of students world over, students undertaking violence at an early age and the stress they go through, he resolved to renounce a lucrative law practice at the peak of his career and gracefully refused the offer to become a high court judge to dedicate his life to guide the students. Ex Law Minister of India named him Buddha of twenty-first century & many termed him ‘A Monk Who Sold His Ferrari in the real sense’. He has also authored many books like Simple Tips For Sure shot Success, Meet Your Soul, Road To Professional Excellence. The Chief justice of India twice felicitated him for his books on Law Day functions held in Supreme Court (India). He shared his experience of more than three decades of dealing with matrimonial cases in his book, ‘A Guide to Man Woman Relationship”.
Ms. Bindu Singh
The spirit and enthusiasm of Bindu’s father experienced by her at an early stage of her life left an indelible imprint upon her mind that further proceed her to work for the social cause while creating a new awakening among women, poor & marginalized in order to live a life of dignity. For the women’s empowerment she worked with the socially excluded groups comprising of schedule caste, Muslims and utmost focus was given to the women coming from these communities taking support from PACS, a DFID programme. Around 1295 women joined into vibrant 93 women’s group called ‘Mahila Manch’ in locale where 168 women’s leaders are emerging as ‘Change Makers’. She has been associated with several national and state level networks i.e. AALI, INSAF, WHARP and others. Earning livelihood is a basic need of the communities she works with in the remote villages & challenging area of district Chandauli, U.P. For this, training in sewing and beautician were initiated by own resources. District administration appreciably joins the organization i.e. Gramya Sansthan headed by Bindu Singh through Small Scale Skill Development Programme. Support was sought in mobilization, beneficiary’s selection and certification of the trainees for their economic upliftment. Bindu has hands on experience to work on women’s issues on the ground that is evident in her work and cases studies as well. She worked on this aspect for her social cause and significantly helped to many victim women seeking assistance on all sort of violence and injustice and for their emancipation.
Mr. Ajay Mittal
Ajay Mittal is a young entrepreneur and opportunity maker from Kolkata, India. He believes it’s our responsibility to work towards improving the state of the world and provide equal opportunities for all human being to live a life unleashing their true potential. While pursuing his graduation he joined Leo Club and AIESEC, the world largest youth run organization which brought major learning and awareness on global issues. In 2012 he led the expansion of student sector of AIESEC as Vice President of the city chapter and started his first venture into transit advertisement. Ajay is Director of Project Life Force a Non Profit organization working on voluntary blood donation in the city of Kolkata, It is a 100% volunteer run organization with 200+ volunteers, organized 100+ camps, facilitated over 22,000 units of blood, 24X7 blood helpline, pioneer in Single Donor Platelets donation process. He is also on the Governing board of HIVE India, a Non-profit working with the local police to run a unique emergency response unit that reaches out to APAROS (Any Person at risk on streets) of Kolkata, an organization that forms a safety net weaving together all stakeholders from the administration and other NGOs on an average rescues and rehabilitate close to 1000 lives every year. Ajay is a Global Shaper at World Economic Forum where he launched an impactful project for city hub to promote Good Samaritan culture in the city by conducting Basic Life Saving skills camp in educational institutes, corporates and housing apartments to prepare people for medical emergencies. He was recognized among the top entrepreneurs for his new venture mera workshop for a competition Egiye Bangla organized by the Government West Bengal and IIM Calcutta.
Mr. Akshay Gunteti
Akshay Gunteti is a traveller, an Entrepreneur and a Climate Change leader. He embarked on the journey to meet entrepreneurs across India which is known as ‘Indian Start Up Tour’. The main objective of the tour is to understand the basic challenges faced by the entrepreneurs and to reduce the failure rate of startups in India. He also spent much of his time at Incubators, Accelerators and Research Centers to better understand the startup Ecosystem and its challenges. Till now he has covered 25 cities in a span of 12 months traveling across 25000 km in India. In his journey he helped more than 100+ startups in rural and urban areas in every possible ways such as financial, mentoring and networking with the various stakeholders in the ‘Indian Startup Tour Phase 1’. In his Phase 2, he aims to cover 40 more cities in the Northern and North Eastern parts of the country. Akshay has himself endeavoured into three major startups of his own. One of which is Startupp, a location based networking platform for the entrepreneur community to find like-minded individuals and engage with incubators, accelerators, investors and various start up initiatives. During his journey he met few tribal communities in Kerala where they are into making Eco-friendly handmade clay based jewellery. Stay Travel is an easy pocket, laid back business friendly co-working space with accommodation at remote places near Hill Stations, River Sides and Beaches in order to promote social tourism. As part of his commitment towards climate change, he has been selected from India to go to Antarctica next year to better understand Global Warming. He is now on a mission to make more Climate Change Leaders to work towards protecting the Environment. He is also a public speaker and has given talks in more than 25+ Colleges, Universities and Conference about his journey, entrepreneurship, travel and climate change.
Mr. Amit Garg
Amit is on a journey to build a culture of performance excellence in Indian Education System. For him, every student has the right to dream about their future as per their inherent abilities and that it is the collective responsibility of the community to fulfil this dream. He sees the Indian Education System suffering from a mind-set of mediocrity and strives to bring a change from its current “Attitude of Chalega” to “Attitude of Excellence”! Drawing like-minded professionals from the Industry & Academia, he is spearheading this core shift by setting up Institutional Excellence Forum. The forum is focused on making India a “Preferred Destination” for Higher Education by developing Excellence Attitude & by making it a Better-Informed Career Hub. Amit has also been conferred with “Karamveer Bronze Chakra” at the “Rex Karmaveer Global Fellowship” (RKGF) awards for Social Justice and Citizen Action.
Ms. Anandana Kapur
Anandana Kapur has continued to dedicate herself to the task of creating social change through storytelling in film and training spaces. She has conducted gender and cinema workshops for underprivileged youth along with WISCOMP which is under the aegis of HH Dalai Lama. She also conceptualised, developed and coordinated a flagship course on Media and Translation for the NGO Katha by way of skills development and critical thinking among youth in Delhi. The co-creation of CINEMAD India with her colleges Jayakrishna and Subhash has seen the formation of a film based organisation that documents and supports initiatives of young women and men supported by NGOs and entrepreneurship programmes in India and abroad. She has also received the Shastri Indo Canadian Institute fellowship for developing project “Baatcheet”.
Ms. Anita Babu
Anita Babu is an ardent dancer. In her first attempt on the topic of Water Conservation titled NADI NARAYANI which highlighted the issue of protecting our water bodies. So far they have performed this item at over 30 occasions at various festivals and functions across India, She was nominated and awarded the WOMEN LEADERSHIP ACHIEVEMENT AWARD FOR EXCELLENCE IN ARTS & CULTURE from the World Women Leadership Congress in 2016 for her work in the field of Odissi and using it as a medium to highlight social issue. Her next attempt was in 2015 was on the topic of harnessing the power of SUN as a source of energy. The title was SURYA TRISHNA. Her latest attempt has been in 2016 which is on the topic of Human Trafficking. The title of this production is ‘AGNIKANYA – We Will Awaken’ reflecting the life and struggle of millions Indian women who fight against a sea of social oppression. The dance depicts the struggle of the protagonist to achieve her dreams and aspirations despite all hindrances.
